Thank you for paying us a visit.  My name is Mike Doten and Elm Grove Farm has been part of my family's life ever since I can remember. It's my honor to continue our family's traditions, tapping the sugar maples on our farm, collecting the sap, boiling it in our sugar house and taking students and visitors on tours during sugaring season. 

As you can see from the pictures on the right, we've also recently installed new windows, posts and a cauldron ready to boil for next season! Boiling syrup and making maple sugar in a cauldron is the way it was done many moons ago. Maple sugar was the form of sugar used prior to cane sugar.
